The role of local development offices in Lebanese municipalities

The Institute of Social Sciences at the Lebanese University in collaboration with the Union of Municipalities of Al Fayhaa, organized a workshop entitled "The role of local development offices in Lebanese municipalities" as part of RECONET project funded by the European Union. 

The workshop was attended by the dean of the Institute of Social Sciences at the Lebanese University, Dr. Marlene Haidar  representing Dr. Adnan Hussein president of the Lebanese University, president of the Union of Municipalities of Al Fayhaa Eng. Amer Al tayeb Rafii, a representative of the European Union in Lebanon, Professor Marcello Mori, director of the Union of Municipalities of Fayhaa Eng. Dima Homsi, and a number of representatives of development offices in the municipal sector, social and academic figures.

The European Union always supports such activities, both financially and morally, because of their great benefit to the communities and their members.
