Addis Ababa Action Agenda

From 13th to 16th July 2015, the Third International Conference on Financing for Development took place in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).

The negotiations resulted in the adoption of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, which also acknowledges the importance of the subnational and local level. Have a look and read how it is emphasised that local governments need to be supported in mobilising revenues at the local level and that international cooperation must be scaled up for strengthening the capacities of municipalities and local authorities (art. 34)
