We are pleased to share with you a new publication, published by SETECI - Technical Secretariat for International Cooperation of Ecuador, entitled 'Catalogue of Decentralized Cooperation Actors'.
The publication includes a reference to the work carried out jointly with UNDP Ecuador, particularly the ART Initiative:
"While broadly all entities of the United Nations (UN) work or have worked directly or indirectly with local authorities, agencies such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), because of the nature of its mandate, have developed more specific partnerships and activities.
It is particularly the case of the ART Programme.
ART supports local communities in the implementation of development partnership collaborations, involving national and international governments, from the north and the south. This support is provided through the generation of a legal, programmatic, operational and administrative framework (Multi-Donor ART Programme framework), that serves as a reference to ensure complementarity between development actors at all levels (national governments, local NGOs, civil society). It seeks to achieve national and international development goals (MDGs). "
