The 3rd Iberoamerican Summit of Gender Local Agendas “Woman and City” is an invitation to think about city development with a focus on gender equality, social justice from a local range, incorporating the voices of women from the organizations, the leaders, officers and technicians; convene the democratic men to contribute their thoughts and drive forward a new deal between men and women.

The idea that brings us together is the possibility to interchange considerations, experiences, questions, achievements; and while we’re at it, the frustrations and obstacles regarding the achievement of the effective equality of women and men in our local context.

Santiago de Chile lead by the Municipality and its mayor Carolina Tohá convene us for the month of January 2016.
